In my Publication Design class I was assigned with other students to create a documentation book of our choice that has 40+ pages and a minimum of 10,000 words. This documentation book spanned the course of three months over the entire semester. Because of the breadth and necessity of this project, in the midst of other classes, I chose a topic that I could consistently work on till its completion at the end of those three months. I was inspired to document my musical journey in the genre of Ska, which started during the pandemic in early 2020. This book not only became a venue for my experiences, but also for the experiences of Ska musicians and artists within the Ska community.
